    The  U.S. Coast Guard Academy is one of the five U.S Service Academies

AIM Program:  (Academy Introduction Mission)
This is a competitive program for high school students between their junior and senior years.  Applications are accepted beginning in January of the junior year.  Those students accepted into this program will have the opportunity to spend a week at the USCG Academy and be introduced to cadet life.  This program is highly recommended for those seriously considering attending the U.S. Coast Guard Academy.
